FANS DIG DEEP FOR KARIS

FUNDS were raised at the Dumbarton v Stirling Albion march for a five year-old Dumbarton cerebral palsy victim.

The Mayhem Boxing Babes, who are ringside girls at all the big bouts in Scotland, also made a special appearance at the all-day fundraiser at Dumbarton Football Stadium.

The fundraising day, which was followed by a gig at night featuring top local acts, was in aid of Karis Ferguson.

A fundraising campaign, led by the Lennox Herald, has been successful in helping to raise £45,000 to send Karis to America next month for surgery to help her walk properly, so the cash raised at the game will go towards physiotherapy and equipment for the Knoxland Primary School pupil.
