Dennis Wyness bursts into the box.
It was welcome revenge for Jim Chapman's men, who had lost 1-0 at Stenhousemuir ten days earlier, and it keeps them in the hunt for a play-off place.

A very even first half was almost over when Sons midfielder Scott Chaplain collected a pass from David Winters and broke through on the right. He beat two defenders before slotting home a fine individual goal.

Dumbarton seemed to be in control in the second half, but in the 64th minute Willie Lyle latched on to a through ball and beat keeper Jan Vojacek to level the score.

The home team took the lead again a couple of minutes later when Chaplain was fouled in the box and netted comfortably from the penalty spot.

Soon after he might have completed a hat-trick with a great strike, but it went just over the bar.

Dennis Wyness and Derek Carcary had chances to add to the lead, but were unable to do so.
